From Sacramento: Take I-80 east toward Reno. Proceed beyond the exits for the city of Auburn. Exit at Foresthill - Auburn Raviine Road. At the end of the exit at the stoplight, turn right (East) and proceed straight ahead onto Foresthill Road. Continue 9.5 miles. The Monte Verde Inn is on the left. There is a center turn lane, sign for the Inn and large iron gates with brick gateposts.
